Footwear deer hoove rattle

A whisper from the deer folk, guardians of the forests & teachers of gentle strength, so that we can remember our original ways and re-assume our roles as stewards of this earth!

 

As crafted for thousands of years by primitive tribes & cultures, these deer hoove rattles carry the deer spirit as they help us immerse in profound states of trance, ritual & introspection. 

These rattles are special because they can be worn around the foot and become part of a ritual dance - while making a sound.

Their sound is fairly loud/strong and can be perceived clearly amongst other instruments.

 

Made from hooves that I personally took off the feet in a long, dedicated process. Tied to stripes of recycled leather, fur & linen.

Each design is entirely unique, with the loving details and lovely imperfections that come with handcrafted products. Real life colours may vary a little from those in the pictures.

 

Adjustable size 

 

All materials used have been recycled from local hunters or deer farms - they would have been thrown to the garbage otherwise! By rescueing and re-designing the parts of the deer, we give them a new meaning and purpose.
